McAreavey Construction has just completed our new home and from the very beginning Richard was a pleasure to deal with. Apart from being technically knowledgeable, he was also approachable, timely and responsive. I was especially pleased with his willingness to listen to my many questions and queries. ​ Richard prepared a detailed specification, which was costed and frequently updated so we knew exactly the likely financial outcome at all times. As with every build, our house threw up some variations and additions that we needed/or requested and subsequent decisions had to be made. But clarity of costs at every step of the process made decision-making much easier. Any of these suggestions during the course of construction were positively discussed and were acted upon and implemented without further discussion or reminder from us.

Having worked in engineering and construction for the last 18 years, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in the building trade and McAreavey Construction is a great example of how a house building company should operate.
